Bishop Dolan has mandated that children receive First Reconciliation before the First Eucharist. With that in mind, our Parish, will begin preparation for First Reconciliation for children in the second and third grades by the end of September. Preparation for children in the forth grade and up will start in January of next year. Bob Boehm, our Parish Director of Religious Education, will also be willing to work with any adults who have not received the Sacrament for the first time. Call Bob, 796-2480, for more information.
The Committee hopes to expand the focus of its ministry, with renewed efforts to add programs for the parish members of all ages. It is especially looking to not only be seen as a ministry for children, but also to meet the Spiritual needs of our Young Adults and Senior Parish Members. Your input is needed, call Bob Boehm or Paula Newell: 482-0296 if you are interested in helping on this Committee or with ideas for future programs.
Now is the time to inquire about the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) Process. This Process is for the Non-Catholic or Baptized Catholic who has little or no instruction in the Catholic Faith, to become fully received into the Church. Call Bob at 769-2480.
