Parish Formation Opportunities

Through the year we have a number of shared events to help and your family grow in faith and understanding.

Adult Formation

There are a number of small groups, Bible studies, and faith sharing groups that are offered throughout the year. Check out www.southshorecatholic.org/adult-formation for more information.

Altar Guild(IC)

This ministry is for girls who have received their First Communion(7+)  and takes place the first Saturday of the month at IC at 2:30pm. Girls learn about the items used and how to care for those items and prepare the altar for Mass. For questions contact altarguild@southshorecatholic.org.

Eucharistic Adoration

Eucharistic Adoration is offered every Tuesday from 5-6pm at Sacred Heart, and every Thursday at IC from 7:30am through Saturdays at 3pm for people to come spend time with the Lord, present in the Eucharist. To become a scheduled adorer, sign up HERE.

Family Holy {Half} Hours

Four times per year there is a family friendly holy half hour where Fr. Edward leads adoration provides formation for children. A pot-luck lunch is hosted afterwards and rotates between the parishes. For questions contact altarguild@southshorecatholic.org.

Religious Formation For Families

Since Religious Formation involves volunteering with minors, all volunteers must have a completed criminal background check and go through an Archdiocesan Safe Environment Education Session. If you are interested in beginning this process, please contact Josh Moore or click HERE.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Leaders
