In the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, it is Christ himself who touches those of us who are sick, through the ministry of the priest, to heal them from sin and if it be the will of God, to heal them from their illness.
The Sacrament of Anointing can be administered multiple times, but it should be for serious reasons. For example, before a serious surgery, in a moment of grave illness, a serious change in one’s diagnosis, or on one’s deathbed.
